Our Karmic Fate.
One of those things that I’ve always wanted to happen, but which never did, has just happened. Right during the week when it’s most inconvenient.
It does feel good to know that it was, and is, possible. I wonder where how deep the rabbit hole goes, though I’m unsure if tossing in a rock would be safe.

CoWorkers Celeb.
I have had coworkers who possess some quality related to a famous celebrity or character. A name [Dax, J_ B_], a relationship [Bert & Ernie] and so forth.
Last week at work I was using someone else’s computer because I didn’t have one and he was on vacation.
Today, I meet him for the first time.
I swear, he’s a clone of Jon Voight from the 1970s. I mean ‘Midnight Cowboy’ image clone. It’s amazing.

Supply & Demand.
I’m in the process of getting used to having a regular, full time job after being out of work for 11 months. On the eve of the second week, I’m rediscovering the good and bad.
Good:
- A structured day and week schedule, which is making my free time more valuable than when I had lots of it. Since my free time is now more valuable, I have more motivation to get stuff done even if the given activity doesn’t appear to be in itself productive.
Bad:
- My time is more restricted for things like going to the Post Office. Why not use the Postal Machine available at work? I will for a lot of things, I’m sure, but there are some things I want to mail at “Media Rate” — which requires a person-to-person interaction.

A Mazing.
Getting physical access to the office before physical access to the building the office is in was odd to deal with. It made me wonder what the keypad in the middle of a blank wall was for; invisible door? beaming up to the mothership?
My clearance was successfully adopted in exactly one (1) day after starting work. As a former coworker liked to sometimes say, “A Mazing”.
