I saved 48% on my grocery bill today.

Wordly Messages From Myles About His Life.
Remember how, earlier, I made light of one exeption of my “Crap You Don’t Want For Three Times The Price” motto Circuit City has//had?
I take that exception back.
Today, I foundĀ a store that sells that one thing I purchased at Circuit City… for cheaper than what Circuit City was selling it for… on sale. I admit I was taken, and I am glad that Circuit City is going down.

Not often I hear a local guy on a national show. Should happen more often.

It’s raining like I haven’t experienced since living in the Seattle area. I find an excuse to go one block north. I drive. Listen to those environmentalists scream about it as I run them over in my Prius.
At the store, I encounter a man who wants a ride down the street [it's raining, remember]. I give him one, and we talk a little along the way. He offers me money for the travel; I do not accept. We shake, bless each other and part ways.
I go back to the store, conduct business and return home.
The Universe does have balance, and experiencing it is great.

It is raining like no tomorrow. I’m new here, and even I know that California doesn’t rain like this. I’m not complaining; California needs every drop it can get.

I read a news article today that stated that it is the belief of several people that the current economy is a “threat” to the U.S. because prolonged economic troubles “could” cause governments to collapse.
A recent George Clooney movie flashed through my mind. Paraphrasing, “Governments could collapse? They have collapsed!”, remembering that Iceland’s government had done just that on 25Jan09 due to the ongoing economic situation.
The news is still entertainment.

This week is forming out as my week to research, and re-research, possible future investments.
It’s time consuming, but I feel that there is progress — by Hump Day, no less. I hope this continues through Friday. This assumes, of course, that I finish by Friday.
