A credit charge that really needs to be there isn’t. Have asked to make it twice. What well-established corporation has every single employee take two full, straight weeks of vacation? And then ask me to make the charge a third time? If they have someone mailing the letter… how about someone making the charge into reality?

End-Of-Year eBay sales have been made. Must pack, ship, receive money, repeat until done.
Am also tired; entertaining a 2 year old for a thousand miles can do that.

I’ve spent the past week in Iowa, which as been on the whole good. I’ve finished two books, started a third and received several more. I also gained some useful information and acted, or will act,, accordingly [once I get home or already have].
One thing hasn’t happened yet, which is annoying. I’m not sure if it’s because people are on vacation or the mail is slow; am searching for information.
More in a few days when I get back home.

I’ve had four interviews so far. At every one, I have been asked how//why I am a member of SWE [Society Of Women Engineers] as I am not a woman. Most of the time.
The Odd Part: For #1, #2 & #4, it was always the 3rd person I interviewed with who asked me. Not the first, not the fifth, not the fourth or second, but always the 3rd person. What about Interview #3? Only two people interviewed me there, so that would make me the 3rd person.
What I’ve Learned
- I am 3rd person and as such must avoid the sewers of Vienna
- A five-person, 2.5hr interview can be tiresome
- Having the person with whom you have many personal history overlaps say that he’s “impressed” is great
